Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us. In Ephesians 1:5 and 2:4 you see that because of God’s tremendous love for you, He gets great pleasure in showing you rich mercy. In fact, in the next verse you see another way He receives pleasure: Psalm 35:27 Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” You might not be feeling very prosperous today, because of all types of stress and problems. Remember a tea bag never releases its potential until it’s put in hot water. Start praising the Lord that the answer is on the way, and you’ll see it shortly.
